According to the website, "Erie Creek Provincial park was formerly a day-use area; however, constant flooding and the resulting damage to facilities prompted BC Parks to close the site. Currently, the park is unsigned and deactivation of the entrance road and parking area discourages day-use."The main entrance to the decommissioned park is blocked off, but there is off-road parking for a few vehicles. There is a sign stating foot-access is permissible. I walked in a small park of the park. The trails are getting overgrown, and there is some deadfall across some of the paths. Still, it is an interesting place to wander.

Great fishing for many different species of fish.
